Ambala: Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij directed Gurugram Police Commissioner to take strict action in the Rs 30 lakh cheating case by two girl students in the name of MBBS admission. He urged the police commissioner to take action against those who cheat the girls. Under no circumstances should it be spared.
Two women students from Gurugram who reached Home Minister Anil Vij’s residence said that they were approached by the Sankalp Alignment and Service Agency in Gurugram for MBBS admission. The owner of the agency informed him that he would be admitted to the Shri Ram Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Durgapur in West Bengal. For this, he gave the agency Rs 15 lakh each. The agency told him that his admission was done and he should go to Durgapur and start classes. Both students said that the institute denied them admission when they reached Durgapur. He claims that he has also filed a fraud case against the agency in Gurugram but no action has been taken against it yet. The Home Minister directed the Police Commissioner to take strict action in the matter.
A resident of Shahbad complained to Home Minister Anil Vij that the agent cheated him of Rs 500,000 in the name of sending his son abroad. He directed the SIT formed for pigeonholing to investigate the matter. Similarly, a woman from Maheshnagar tearfully told Home Minister Anil Vij that she was constantly threatened and used abusive language by a person over a petty dispute. The minister directed the Ambala DSP, who was present at the spot, to take strict action in the matter. At the same time, a woman from Sunder Nagar in Ambala said that her husband was missing for three days and after that her husband’s body was recovered. The police have registered a case in this regard but have not taken any concrete action yet. He directed DSP Ambala Cantt to take action in the matter.
