Ambala: A fake sub-inspector who cheated people by luring them with a job has been caught by the police. He was wearing Delhi Police uniform. The accused has been identified as Praveen Kumar, a resident of Dhani Pariwali village in Hisar. During investigation, it was found that the accused had lured some people from Parshuram colony in Ambala town to provide them with jobs. In return, he also stole huge sums of money from people. The defendant is questioned by the police.
According to the information, the accused Praveen had committed fraud with a person named Nirmal Singh to get a job. When Nirmal Singh became suspicious of the accused, he lodged his complaint at the Sector 9 police station. The police searched the defendant’s office and arrested him. During the interrogation, it emerged that the defendant had defrauded many people. The uniform of Delhi Police sub-inspector was also recovered from his possession. SHO Sector 9 Jitendra Singh said that a person named Nirmal Singh lodged a police complaint that a person named Praveen had set up an office in Parshuram Colony. He describes himself as a sub-inspector of Delhi Police. The police have now taken the accused into custody for questioning. The police interrogate the defendant in detail.
