Ambala: An army soldier raped a woman. The girl accused the soldier of raping her under the pretext of marriage. According to the girl, she was raped several times by the soldier. Now he refuses to get married. Following the victim’s complaint, the police lodged a case against the army jawan and initiated an investigation.
The victim said that a young man from her village worked in the army. In October 2021, she became friends with the defendant on Instagram. After a good friendship between the two, the defendant called in December 2021 and insisted on a meeting. Then she refused, but the defendant urged her to meet. She was seduced by the accused and the accused took her to Barara in his car. Thereafter, the defendant met him in January 2022. During this time, the defendant tried to establish a relationship under the pretext of marriage, but she refused. The defendant then got to work. Their conversation between each other continued. Whenever she came to the village, the accused would always talk to her about getting married. In July 2022, the accused returned home from duty and in August 2022, he took her to Mulana PG House in his car. Raped her here. Raped her twice in the same hotel after promising marriage.
The victim said that she kept telling the accused that all this would happen after marriage but the accused involved her in his conversations. The defendant came home for his brother’s wedding in February 2023. During this time too, the accused took him to Ambala Cantt in the car. Have physical relationships on Valentine’s Day. Had sex in a hotel in Ambala city on March 17. The defendants met several times in March and formed relationships. The defendant went to work but continued to talk affectionately until August 5th. One day the accused called and said he couldn’t marry her because both of them belonged to different communities. My community doesn’t allow this. The victim said that her life was ruined because she rejected many relationships because of the accused. Now the defendant is trying several times to suppress her voice by printing money. He and his family also receive death threats. The police took up the case and initiated an investigation.
