Agricultural block officer hanged, grief spread in the family, two high officials were charged

Hisar: Barwala agricultural block officer committed suicide by hanging himself in the old campus area of ​​Haryana Agricultural University (HAU Hisar) on Friday afternoon. The late Raghuveer Kaliravana also left a suicide note accusing two senior Agriculture Ministry officials of molesting him. The police are currently investigating by confiscating the body.

According to police, Raghuveer Kaliravana, 45, was originally from Jind District. His wife is a lecturer at Haryana Agricultural University campus school and they have three children. The whole family lives on the old university campus. Raghuveer is said to have hanged himself from a fan in his quarters on Friday afternoon. Before his death, he wrote a suicide note accusing two senior officials at the Ministry of Agriculture of molesting him. The note says he was forced to commit suicide because of his molestation.

When the deceased’s son returned home after handing over the paper, he saw his father hanging from the fan. He immediately called his mother from the campus school. The matter was immediately reported to the police. Immediately after receiving the information, the police team was on site and the forensic team was also called to the scene. The police team have launched an investigation by taking possession of the body and suicide note.
