Vigilance Team Inspector Satpal Singh said that Gulab Singh Bhatedi’s wife has a depot in Bilaspur. Depot’s commission used to be several lacs of rupees. To clear it, both defendants demanded a bribe of Rs 28,000 but the deal was struck for Rs 20,000. Gulab Singh did not want to pay this money and raised his voice against corruption and complained to Vigilance. After this ASI.
