Jind, On Sunday evening, an unidentified vehicle crashed into a bicycle on Jind Safidon Road near the village of Budha Kheda, killing two youths riding bicycles. After the incident was carried out, the driver fled the scene with the vehicle. Sadar Police Station Safidon is investigating the matter.
Ravi, 21, and Manjeet, 22, residents of Budha Kheda village, were returning to the village from Safidon late Sunday evening when a speeding unidentified vehicle struck their bicycle near the feed mill. In which both were seriously injured, the clever perpetrator fled the scene with the vehicle. Passengers took the two youths to Safidon Hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead.
Krishna Kumar, head of Sadar Police Station Safidon, said two youths were killed in the accident and the matter is under investigation.
