Woman murdered in Bawana, husband found hanging from tree in Sonepat

New Delhi. In Bawana area, a female teacher was killed by slitting her throat. The woman’s name has been told as Upasana (35), a resident of Rohtak. The body of husband Sanjay (35) was found hanging from a tree in the field in Sonipat, Guhana-Sadar area on Wednesday. The suspect that Sanjay hanged himself after killing his wife. The have registered a case and are investigating.

told that Upasana was living alone in a rented house on Auchandi Road. She was a teacher in a government school in Bawana area. About eight years ago, she was married to Sanjay, a resident of Sonipat. Sanjay is a clerk in CAG. He is posted in Chandigarh. He has a six-year-old daughter who lives with her maternal grandmother in Rohtak. Upasana got a job about two months back. Upasana was supposed to go to her maternal home on Wednesday morning, but she did not turn up. The family kept trying to contact him.

But there was no reply from the other side. After this, Upasana’s brother came to Delhi, after which he found his sister in a pool of blood inside the house. The Bawana police station was informed about the matter at around 4 pm. Police investigated on the spot and sent the dead body for postmortem. The police was probing the matter. Meanwhile, at 9 am today, Sanjay’s body was found hanging from a tree in a field in Kakana village of Guhana-Sadar police station area, Sonipat. On information, the sent the body for postmortem. suspects that Sanjay went to Haryana and hanged himself after killing his wife on Tuesday night. During the investigation, the police found the location of Sanjay’s mobile at Auchandi Road on Tuesday night. However, the police is taking forward the investigation keeping all the aspects in mind.
