New Delhi: A woman was stabbed to death by entering inside the house in Rajouri Garden area of West district. The name of the deceased has been described as 35-year-old Pooja. The body has been sent to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for postmortem. Delhi Police has claimed to have arrested the four accused, including the woman’s husband SK Gupta, hours after the incident. The names of the two accused who carried out the murder are Vipin Sethi and Himanshu. The fourth accused is Amit Gupta, the disabled son of SK Gupta. The matter is being told of contract killing.

According to DCP Ghanshyam Bansal, Subhash Nagar police post received information about the incident at around 3.45 pm on Wednesday. After getting this information, the police reached 161 Rajouri Apartment, where a 35-year-old woman was found dead. Several stab wounds were found on his body. During investigation, the police learned that the deceased Pooja had married 71-year-old SK Gupta in November last year. The elder also has a 45-year-old disabled son Amit. He was present at home at the time of the incident.
The police called the Crime and FSL team to investigate the incident on the spot and then after the initial investigation, registered a case of murder in the Rajouri Garden police station regarding the matter. Special staff and local police found in the investigation that SK Gupta had married the woman to take care of his disabled son, but the woman started showing her true colors. She started demanding one crore rupees for divorce and separation from him. SK Gupta did not want to give money at any cost.
He made a deal to kill the woman for Rs 10 lakh. 2.40 lakhs were initially given. Vipin Sethi and Himanshu alias Bally entered the woman’s house under planning and stabbed her with a knife. An attempt was made to give the incident the color of murder due to robbery. The police has arrested all the four accused.
