Weather Update: It is raining lightly in the country’s national capital Delhi and its surrounding areas this morning. The weather changed suddenly in Delhi-NCR. Also, the weather became pleasant due to strong winds. The people of Delhi, troubled by heat and humidity, have got a lot of relief from light rain. Today the maximum and minimum temperatures will remain around 36 and 27 degrees Celsius. Also, there are chances of light to moderate rain in the states of South India.
Weather patterns changed in Delhi-NCR
IMD said that strong winds will blow at a speed of 50-70 km per hour in Delhi-NCR. The reason for the bad weather is believed to be the activation of a fresh western disturbance. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a slight reduction in rain activities by evening. At the same time, light to moderate rainfall can also be recorded in the NCR areas of Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, and the areas around Indirapuram.

IMD issued a red alert and predicted that there is a possibility of rain, storm and lightning in Odisha. Meanwhile, light rain activities will be seen in Jharkhand. Also, rain will continue in Andaman and Nicobar Islands till Monday.
There are chances of rain in East Rajasthan till tomorrow i.e. Saturday. At the same time, rain activities are also being seen in many areas of Uttarakhand. However, light to moderate rain has also been recorded in many areas of Himachal Pradesh. The weather is likely to remain pleasant in areas of Maharashtra till Monday and in Marathwada till Sunday. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert in Gujarat.
