New Delhi: Confusion continued for the third day on Thursday as the resignations of Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain were not accepted by the President. However, in the meantime, the names of Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj as new ministers by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have been sent by Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena to President Draupadi Murmu for approval.
The screw is still stuck in this matter as to why no news has come out about the President accepting the resignations of Sisodia and Jain. If sources related to the Raj Niwas are to be believed, there is not much information about whether the resignations of both the ministers have been accepted by the President or not. Sources said that the file containing the names of Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj as new ministers sent by Kejriwal has been sent to Rashtrapati Bhavan for approval.
It is obvious that speculation is rife as to why the President did not approve the resignations of Sisodia and Jain even on the third day. There is also a lot of news floating in the market of rumors that the President may have some doubts about the signatures of Sisodia and Jain behind not getting the approval. Experts of constitution and politics say that the delay in getting the resignations of Sisodia and Jain approved is suspicious. Because the resignation does not take that long to be approved, it is often approved within a few hours.
