Delhi Metro Lakhs of passengers travel daily in the Delhi Metro, so the metro is considered the lifeline of Delhi. On the other hand, many passengers also face many problems related to smart card recharge due to technical reasons. Very soon the passengers will be able to get rid of all these problems. By July this year, passengers will be able to enter and exit directly inside the metro station through QR code and scanning at almost all stations of Delhi Metro. Apart from this, they will also continue to get metro smart card and other optional facilities.

For the past several days, speculations were being made regarding this service of Delhi Metro. DMRC According to (DMRC), its trial is in the final stage on most of the metro lines and this work will be completed on all lines by the coming July. After this, passengers traveling in Delhi Metro will be able to get entry through QR code and scanning at AFC gate. For this facility, the work of continuously upgrading all the software and hardware is being done. Apart from this, talks are also being held with banks regarding payment through debit card and credit card.

DMRC is giving final touches to the preparations regarding this special service to make the journey of passengers in Delhi Metro easier. Apart from QR code scanning, other options will also be available at many metro stations. For the past few months, the balance of the smart card is not updated many times even after online payment is done while recharging the smart card. Due to this, the passengers have to face a lot of problems. In the coming times, passengers will be able to get rid of this major problem through the QR code and scanning system at the AFC gate.
