New Delhi. A 10-year-old girl was abducted and molested in a park in Sagarpur area of South Western district. Seeing the opportunity, the girl escaped from the clutches of the accused, after which she informed the mother. On receiving a complaint about the incident, the police registered a case and arrested the accused. The name of the accused is Pushkar and he is a resident of Chanakya Place area.
According to the police, the victim girl lives with her family in Durga Park area. She is a student of class VI in a school. His mother runs a tea shop near the house. At five in the evening of the incident, she had gone to give light and battery to her mother. After this she was returning home, when on the way she found a young man on a scooty near street number seven Durga Park drain. He asked to leave the girl at home. The girl came under his influence. Thereafter, the accused took her to the park behind the accused school.
He started molesting her but seeing the opportunity, the girl ran away. He went to his mother and told the whole thing. On discovering this, the girl’s mother informed the police. The police talked to the victim girl and her mother and after getting the information, registered a case under IPC sections 363, 509 and 12 POCSO Act at Sagarpur police station and arrested the accused.
