In the Shraddha Walker Murder Case, which shook the country, the Delhi Police may soon file a case against the accused Aftab Amin Poonawalla. Police has prepared a charge sheet of 3000 pages. Narco test, polygraphy and DNA test reports have also been included in this charge sheet to tell the story of the incident.
Apart from this, statements of more than 100 witnesses have also been written in it. Police (Delhi Police) claims that the charge sheet prepared is foolproof and very strong. Despite this, the police is trying to verify it afresh. It is expected that in the next day or two, the police will present the charge sheet in the court and request the court for its fast trial.
According to media reports, in the charge sheet, the police have also cited the DNA report of hair and bone samples recovered from a forest in Mehrauli on January 4, which confirmed that these were Shraddha’s bones. At the same time, in addition to Shraddha’s DNA report, the charge sheet also includes the confession of accused Aftab Poonawala and the report of the narco test, although according to Delhi Police sources, both these reports do not have much importance in the court.
Let us tell you that on May 18 last year, accused Aftab Poonawala had strangled Shraddha Walker to death in Delhi’s Chhatarpur area and then cut the body into several pieces. It is alleged that Aftab cut Shraddha’s body into 35 pieces and kept them in the freeze for several days. Later, those pieces were gradually dumped in different areas of Delhi for the purpose of erasing the evidence. About 6 months after the murder, the police disclosed the whole matter and arrested the accused Aftab.
