Delhi News: The crime branch has arrested the shooter who fired at the priest in Najafgarh area. The name of this shooter of Ashok Pradhan gang is Sikandar alias Rohit, resident of Bapraula, Nangloi. During interrogation, the accused told that the priest had organized the bhandara, but had not invited Sushil Das, the priest of another temple in the area. Das was getting angry with this. This incident was carried out on his behest.
According to the police, on February 15, this incident of firing came to light in Rana Ji Enclave of Najafgarh. The target of the attackers was a priest named Akash Nath, but he narrowly escaped being shot, one of his disciples was injured. After this, a case of attempt to murder was registered by the police.
The police had received information about the accused coming near the Najafgarh Chhawla drain. After this the police traced the car of the accused and nabbed him. The accused says that the bullet fired at the priest’s disciple was fired by his accomplice Pradeep alias Habbu. Habbu has also been involved in the murder of a Delhi Police constable in Ranhola area due to a property dispute. During interrogation, the police also came to know that Ashok Pradhan and Sikandar were nowadays working on a plan to kill their rival Neeraj Bawania and his henchmen during their court appearances.
