Safdarjung Hospital: Neurosurgeon Manish Rawat of Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital and four other associates have been arrested by the CBI. He used to make arbitrary recovery from the relatives of the patients in the name of fixing the time schedule quickly.

CBI has busted the recovery going on in Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital. On Thursday, March 30, the Central Bureau of Investigation arrested neurosurgeon Manish Rawat and four other associates. The Central Bureau of Investigation says that these people used to force patients to buy surgical instruments from a special store at exorbitant prices to give them an early date of operation, forcing the patient’s relatives to pay them to get their work done.

CBI busted the nexus

Concerned officials said that raids are being conducted continuously on such works at many places in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Despite this, people are not desisting from doing such things. He said that we had to do a thorough investigation to arrest neurosurgeon Manish Rawat and four associates who were supporting him, after which these people were arrested on Thursday morning, in which Kanishk Surgical Store owner Deepak Khattar along with Avnesh Patel as middleman, Manish Sharma and Kuldeep etc. are included.

The CBI spokesperson said that after the arrest of these four, the medical examination was conducted in the entire Safdarjung Hospital itself. He used to work in connivance with his associates to demand illegal payment of money from patients for contrarian medical consultations and surgical procedures.

Used to demand from 30 thousand to 1.15 lakh rupees 

After CBI’s investigation, the matter came to light when Manish Rawat instructed his associates to take bribes ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 1.15 lakh from patients.
