Mewati crook arrested for stealing around 87 lakhs from five ATMs, two accomplices have already been caught

News2News.in News New Delhi:The Special Cell has arrested a vicious scoundrel of the Mewati gang who targeted ATMs in Delhi and MP. The name of the accused has been described as Mohammad Kamil. A katta and three cartridges have been recovered from it. Two of its accomplices were arrested recently. This gang had stolen Rs 87 lakh from ATMs in about five cases.

According to the police, Kamil is originally from Palwal, Haryana. Information about this miscreant was received on January 23, after which he was caught from Aurobindo College Malviya Nagar. A case of Arms Act was registered in the Special Cell Police Station regarding the pistol found near it. During interrogation, it was revealed that he along with his accomplices used to target those ATM booths where there was no security guard. At the time of the incident, he used to spray black paint on the camera in the ATM booth. The police is looking for his other fellow miscreants.
