Aam Aadmi Party accuses BJP of buying councilors

Aam Aadmi Party has got majority in Delhi Municipal Corporation Election 2022 (mcd election 2022). But the BJP has once again started repeating history. In Chandigarh, the BJP had made its mayor despite not having the majority. In the same way, BJP has started making its mayor in Delhi as well.

Aam Aadmi Party has got 134 out of 250 in MCD Election 2022. BJP has won 104 seats. The magic number for a majority in the MCD is 126. In such a situation, the people have handed over the power of MCD to the Aam Aadmi Party. But the Bharatiya Janata Party has staked its claim on the mayor’s post. The BJP says that the majority of councilors are with it. The 250 councilors who won the Delhi Municipal Corporation 2022 elections will decide who should become the mayor.

Bharatiya Janata Party’s IT cell chief Amit Malviya has said that now the mayor of Delhi will be elected. Councilors will decide who will be their mayor? Despite the lesser number of corporators, the mayor is from the BJP. Apart from this, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has also said that the mayor of Delhi will be from BJP. In such a situation, questions are being raised as to how the BJP will make its mayor in Delhi.

Phone calls have started coming to our councilors – Manish Sisodia

At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party has accused of buying councilors. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that BJP’s game has started. Phone calls started coming to our newly elected corporators. None of our councilors will be sold. We have told all the corporators that if they get a phone call or come to meet them, then record them. Aam Aadmi Party’s MCD election in-charge Durgesh Pathak said that BJP has started its dirty game. BJP is calling our corporators under Operation Lotus. We have told all our corporators that if they come to meet or call, then record them.
