The Kejriwal government has sent a file to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena to replace Naresh Kumar with IAS officer PK Gupta as the new chief secretary.

At present, PK Gupta is working as Additional Chief Secretary in the General Administration Department (GAD), Government of Delhi. At the same time, the Delhi government restrained its chief secretary and service secretary from passing orders in respect of all categories of Delhi government employees. For this, the approval of the Delhi Services Minister has been made mandatory.
