Delhi Police has arrested an IRS service officer. The police arrested an IRS officer for molesting and harassing a woman IAS officer. Police has registered a case against IRS in three sections. Police officials have given information about this. Police has started further action in this matter.

In this regard, the police officials said that the Parliament Street police station has arrested an IRS officer for stalking and harassing a woman IAS officer. He told that the woman officer has alleged that the IRS officer was pressurizing her to meet by sending messages and was continuously harassing her. A case has been registered in this matter.

The woman IAS officer said that she met him during the Corona epidemic 2020, after which he kept trying to get closer to the woman IAS officer many times. Even after refusing many times, he did not agree and kept messaging for meeting again and again. When the lady officer’s husband came to know about this, he suggested the IRS officer to stay away, but in spite of all this he continued to harass her. After this the woman IAS filed a police complaint against the IRS.

He told that both were members in a WhatsApp group at the time of Kovid. From there the IRS used to try to get close to him by taking his number. He told that earlier she used to ignore this, but when the matter went beyond limits, the woman officer was forced to register an FIR.
