Preparations have intensified in the country’s capital Delhi regarding the G-20 summit. New Delhi Municipal Council is all set to welcome the G20 delegates by enhancing green beautification work in its area. Beautiful structures of different sizes have been displayed all over the NDMC area, with an aim to make NDMC a “City of Flowers”. Green beautification work is being done by Horticulture Department in which 247 different types of artistic structures and prefabricated planters have been decorated and decorated. Giving this information on Friday, NDMC Vice Chairman Satish Upadhyay said that for the second time, NDMC has developed flower beds in prefabricated planters on the concrete central verge at Barakhamba Road.

Upadhyay said that especially flowers like petunia and dianthus have been used to enhance beautification. The flowering period of the petunia flower is till the end of May and the reason for planting this flower in particular is that it has a variety of colors and has a long life. Entire NDMC North Zone including Mandi House, Windsor Place, Palika Kendra, Central Park-Connaught Place, Sikandra Road, Tilak Marg, Hyderabad Bhawan, ‘C’ Hexagon India Gate and Pandara Road, Janpath, Barakhamba Road etc. He said that the display of such structures has added to the visual beauty of the city.
Raahgiri Day program organized on Sunday
Raahgiri Day program will be organized in Delhi on 26th March. For this, NDMC, Delhi Police, Raahgiri Foundation, and SNM are fully prepared. Will organize Raahgiri Diwas program on Sunday 26th March at Connaught Place, New Delhi. The event will be organized to promote sustainable transport as well as reduce air pollution in Delhi. This program is a part of joint efforts to provide safe and inclusive roads for all.
