Delhi Crime: A case of supplying drugs through social media app has come to the fore in Delhi. Taking action in this case, the police has arrested an accused. The drug was being supplied by DU students and the cafe owner of Noida. The name of the accused person is Rajeev Gupta. He used to do drug supply business by taking a rented room in Kamla Nagar area. But this black business of the accused could not continue for long.

Charas and party tablets were recovered from the accused.

Giving information about the matter, the police said that a complaint was received in this regard on February 15. It was said in the complaint that the business of selling drugs is being done through WhatsApp in Delhi and NCR. In this case, on February 18, the police raided Kamla Nagar and Rajeev Gupta was detained. Three kg of ganja, 500 grams of charas and party tablets have been recovered from the accused. Apart from this, two smart phones have also been seized, through which the business was being done by creating a social media account.

Tell that the accused Rajeev Gupta is basically a resident of Sambhal UP. He has seven siblings. The accused had come to Delhi about 12 years ago. During the lockdown, he lived in the parking lot of the Vishwavidyalaya metro station. He had started living in Kamla Nagar a few days back by taking a room on rent. Then from the same room he started selling drugs. Initially, he supplied ganja to rickshaw and auto drivers, then later started supplying drugs to DU students near university metro station. Apart from this, the accused also used to supply drugs through Rapido app.
