CM Arvind Kejriwal has taken seriously the issue of not stopping the cluster bus on seeing women due to free bus service at a bus stop in Delhi. He got the video of not stopping the bus through social media. After this, the CM gave instructions to take action against the driver who did not stop the bus. Along with this, the Transport Minister was instructed to take necessary steps so that such incident is not repeated in future. On Kejriwal’s instructions, Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot removed the bus driver from duty within an hour and held a meeting of senior officials including the Transport Department MD.

While appealing, the CM has said that all the drivers must stop the bus at the fixed bus stand. There have been some complaints that some drivers do not stop the bus on seeing women. this is not right. The women of Delhi are our mothers and sisters. We all have to take care of them.
Complaints were received earlier also, no action was taken due to non-availability of services- Gehlot
Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot said that some such complaints had come to us earlier also, but then we did not have the Services Department. Because of which the Delhi government could not do much on this. Now the Services Department is with the Delhi Government. Therefore action has been taken in this matter. Along with this, all the bus drivers are being sensitized so that such incidents do not happen again.
