Delhi Traffic Police issued advisory

In this connection, the Public Works Department has started the repair work of Nangloi flyover on Rohtak Road from today, due to which the traffic passing through the flyover is being diverted towards the signal crossing below. In view of this work of PWD, Delhi traffic police has issued an advisory on Sunday and asked people to follow it. From Monday, the Public Works Department has started the work of replacing the expansion joints of the Nangloi flyover.

First of all, work has been started on the carriage-way from Peera Garhi to Tikri border. Under this, repair work will be done by closing the traffic of more than half of the flyover. While one lane adjacent to the railing of the flyover has been kept open for small vehicles. Heavy vehicles have been diverted downstream of the flyover. In such a situation, congestion may increase at the traffic signal under the flyover.

The pressure of traffic on the roads is continuously increasing

According to the information of Special CP SS Yadav, due to the ever-increasing traffic pressure on the roads, the work has been started to replace the expansion joints on Nangloi flyover on Rohtak road from Peera Garhi to Tikri border carriage-way. . There is a lot of traffic pressure on this road. As a result, one lane of the carriage-way will remain open for vehicular traffic. Police have advised motorists to avoid using this route and use alternate routes. Delhi Traffic Police said that commuters going towards Mundka and Tikri border should leave with sufficient time keeping in mind the possible delay.

The Delhi Traffic Police said that the carriageway going from Tikri border to Peera Garhi will remain completely open for the time being and vehicular movement on it will continue as usual. When the repair work of expansion joints on one carriage-way is completed, the work on the other carriage-way will also be started.
