New Delhi: Alok alias Prince, the accused who shot the live-in partner’s mother in Delhi’s Deshbandhu Gupta Road area, has been arrested. A pistol and five cartridges have been found from it. The accused is a declared scoundrel of Aman Vihar police station. He was hiding in different OYO hotels to escape from the police.

DCP Sanjay Kumar Sen told that on the evening of April 8, Dhobi Wali Gali, Gaushala Road, a woman named Kanchan was shot on her shoulder. During investigation, the police came to know that the woman’s daughter Chanchal was in a live-in relationship with Alok. One day during a quarrel, the Prince kicked his dog. He also used to talk quietly to Chanchal’s younger sister. Chanchal and his mother Kanchan did not like this thing. On the day of the incident, Kanchan had abused Alok during the argument.

Enraged by this, the accused opened fire and fled. Finally, the police traced his location and reached Oyo Hotel in Rithala and nabbed him. The accused has also been told of intoxication etc. The police have started further action by registering a case against the accused. Please inform that the accused had executed many incidents earlier also. The accused of Delhi’s Aman Vihar is a declared scoundrel. At the same time, the police is also probing other cases by interrogating the accused.

Please tell that during interrogation, he confessed to his crime and revealed that he had a fight with his girlfriend. Thereafter the partner’s mother came to settle the matter, he argued with her and in a fit of rage took out the illegal gun. After this he was taking her and shot, the bullet hit his shoulder after which Alok fled from the spot.
