Dwarka Cyber ​​Police has arrested a fraudster who was cheating in the name of Patanjali Yogpeeth Haridwar. Two laptops and a mobile have been recovered from Rahul Kumar 38, a resident of Laxmi Nagar, which were used in cheating. He had created a fake website in the name of Patanjali. Callers on the phone number given on the site used to tell this Patanjali doctor.

According to DCP M Harshvardhan, the complainant had told that his wife used to be ill. He took the help of Google and contacted the mobile number given on a website. The caller on that number called himself Dr. Sachin Agarwal. After this he was asked to deposit Rs 50,000 in a bank account. Thereafter, the victim could not be contacted again on that number. The victim again took the help of Google and this time got another number. This time he was asked to deposit Rs 45,600 in another account. On calling the same number a second time, he was asked to deposit Rs 56,800. At that time the victim did not deposit the amount, but by then he had lost Rs 95,600. On March 1, a case was registered on the complaint.

During the investigation, after focusing on the bank account and CDR, the police raided a house in Laxmi Nagar on March 21 and arrested a person named Rahul. The accused told during interrogation that he used to do fake website designing work and along with his associate Sumit used to cheat people in the name of providing some service. He had designed fake websites in the name of big companies like Patanjali. Mobile numbers were also put there. On the website named Patanjali, more people had come under his trap.
