Delhi Budget 2023: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the central government of stalling Delhi’s budget. He said that till now the budget of Delhi has not been approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Central Government. Kejriwal said that the budget of Delhi needs the approval of the Central Government, only after that it is presented in the House. Let us tell you that the budget of Delhi was to be presented in the assembly on Tuesday i.e. March 21, but in the meantime CM Kejriwal said that the Center has not yet approved the budget.

According to media reports, the Delhi government had sent a budget to spend more on advertising than on infrastructure. In this regard, the Ministry of Home Affairs had given a notice to the Delhi Government and sought an explanation from the Government, but till now the Delhi Government has not replied. Because of this, the Home Ministry has stopped the budget. According to the information, the Ministry of Home Affairs has not yet approved the budget of the Delhi government because the central government was not satisfied with the budget prepared and sent by the government.

According to the central government, in its proposed budget, the Delhi government paid less attention to the issues related to infrastructure, health and common people. Along with this, the Delhi government has given more emphasis on advertisement in this budget. After this, the government was asked to send the budget after making improvements, but the Delhi government has not sent the budget after making improvements. That’s why no approval has been given to that budget of the Delhi government.

Let us inform that the budget session of Delhi started from 17 March. At the same time, this budget was to be presented in the assembly on March 21, but now according to the claim of the Kejriwal government, the budget will not be presented. Because, it has not yet received approval from the Center.
