Delhi’s crime branch team has busted a gang that was involved in buying and selling expensive parts and equipment of stolen mobile towers. Three people including the leader of this gang have been arrested (3 Accused Arrested). Police has recovered parts worth about two crores from them. Special CP Ravindra Singh Yadav said that the names of the arrested accused are Imran alias Ghatak, Naseem alias Tidda and Dinesh alias Dinu.

The material recovered from the accused

All three are residents of Meerut and Badaun in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Apart from the MG Hector car used in the crime, 81 different mobile tower equipments (BBU) and RRU (RRU) have been recovered from them, which cost about two crore rupees. With their arrest, the cases registered in Harinagar in Delhi, Alwar in Rajasthan, Sikar, Bhiwadi, Karauli, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kotputli, Gurugram in Haryana and Hyderabad in Telangana have come to the fore. A team of ACP Ramesh Lamba and Inspector Mintu Singh, under the supervision of DCP Amit Goyal, has busted this gang.

The accused were changing their location to escape from the police 

Five accused of this gang have already been arrested by the Inter State Cell team of Crime Branch. These accused used to keep mobile tower parts stolen from different states in a godown located in Mustafabad. After this, according to the demand, they used to transfer it to another godown and dispose it further. To escape from the police, these people used to change their location continuously. The police was following this gang for a long time. Recently the police had received information that information was received about Naseem and Imran. After this, both were nabbed from Mustafabad area. After questioning him, the third accomplice Dinesh was also caught.
