A good news has come to the fore for the people commuting to Delhi-NCR via Ashram flyover. The work of Ashram flyover is nearing completion. Preparations are being made to open this flyover for the movement of people. This occasion is being seen as a big event in Delhi. The work of this flyover was likely to be completed by February 15 only. But, due to some reason, there was a slight delay in its completion. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will inaugurate the extension of Ashram flyover and dedicate it to the public.
Giving information, PWD officials said that the work of Ashram flyover extension has been completed. It will be made open to the public on Tuesday, February 28. A big event is being organized on the occasion of the inauguration of this flyover. People were waiting for this flyover for a long time. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was requested to inaugurate this flyover. After this, confirmation of the Chief Minister’s availability has been received from the CM’s office. After which the date of inauguration of this flyover has been fixed on 28 February. On this occasion, along with Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, local MLAs and PWD officials are also going to be present on the occasion. A lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the people regarding this.
People of Delhi will get relief from flyover
After the Ashram flyover becomes operational, it will be easier for the people of Noida, South and Central Delhi adjacent to Delhi to travel. This 6 lane Ashram flyover will be signal free till Noida. Please tell that the work of this ashram flyover started in the year 2020 itself. But, due to some reasons it took a long time to complete. In the month of January this year, the department started work on the 1.4 km flyover extension. A target was set to complete this work in just 45 days. There was a possibility that its work would be completed by February 15 only. But it took a while to finish. Finally this flyover is going to be inaugurated on 28th February.
