Raipur. In Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel is very sensitive towards women’s safety. The state government is fully committed to ensuring women’s safety. As per the instructions of Mr. Baghel, the law for the protection of women is being strictly followed. Cases of crime against women are being taken seriously and strict action is being taken against the criminals. For this, a women’s cell has been formed in every police station of the state and independent investigation of crimes related to women is also being conducted.
People associated with crime against women will not get government jobs
Showing sensitivity towards women’s safety, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has also announced that a person associated with crime against women will not get a government job.
Efforts to ensure women’s safety
Constant efforts are being made by the Home (Police) Department in Chhattisgarh to ensure the safety of women. For this, the department is running many schemes and is also running public awareness campaigns.

Keeping women’s safety in mind, Chhattisgarh government has developed “Abhivyakti” women’s safety app. This mobile app has been launched on 1 January 2022.

Victim Compensation Scheme
Compensation Scheme for Women/Survivors of Sexual Harassment/Other Crimes – 2018 is implemented in the state, in which there is a provision to provide relief amount up to a maximum of Rs 10 lakh.
