According to the information received, accused Sandeep Verma (30) lived with his wife Meena Verma (26) in Bijnapur. Sandeep went to the police station on Saturday and told that his wife had committed suicide. He further stated that there was no one at home at that time. When he reached home, he saw that the wife was hanging. So he removed his dead body from the noose.

After the complaint, the police started the investigation. Then the police got the post-mortem done on the dead body. The report revealed murder by strangulation with a rope. The police questioned the neighbors and Meena’s parents. Then the parents told that there used to be frequent disputes between Sandeep and Meena. That’s why they suspect that Sandeep has killed Meena.

That day Sandeep could not control his anger and strangled his wife to death with a nylon rope. The accused also confessed that he had fabricated the story to mislead the police. At present, the police have arrested the accused and have started further investigation.
