The weather of North India has again changed its course. For the last one week, where people got relief from the cold wave during the day, everyday tasks were also being dealt with due to the sunshine. Now the weather has changed in many states of North India including Delhi-NCR. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rains in many states within the next 48 hours. Due to this, like the hill states, the plains will also return to the harsh cold.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is heavy rain along with snowfall in the hilly states. Due to this, people in these respective states are facing severe winter. The situation is such that rivers and waterfalls have also frozen. Due to the activation of Western Disturbance, it is raining in the higher hills of Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

However, people in the plain states did not face cold wave. The Meteorological Department says that now a change in the weather is being seen again. Due to this, today on January 25 and tomorrow on January 26, there are chances of light rain in Haryana, Punjab, Western UP and North Rajasthan including Delhi-NCR. Snowfall and rain will continue till January 26 in the hilly states. Due to this, due to rain in the plains, the harsh winter can return again.

According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many areas of Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad. Apart from this, hailstorm may occur in these areas as well as in parts of North Haryana, North Punjab and West UP. It is forecast that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many parts of Haryana, Punjab, UP, Madhya Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
