Tractor overturned: Driver killed, was engaged in beautification of pond

Korba. In Hardi Bazar police station area of ​​Korba district of Chhattisgarh, the driver was buried under the tractor after it overturned, due to which he died. The tractor belonged to the deceased and was engaged in beautification of a pond near the village. The accident occurred while dumping soil. The body was handed over to the relatives after the postmortem on Tuesday.

According to the information, beautification work is going on in the pond near Chodha-Barhamuda road, where 30-year-old Ramprakash Markam, a resident of Chodha’s dependent village Chhindpani, used to drive a tractor. On Monday he was dumping soil from the tractor. After the work was over, the driver Ramprakash was preparing to go home. The tractor was at a very high speed, due to which it overturned uncontrollably.

Dead body removed from JCB

Chandrakant Markam, the elder brother of the deceased, told that Ramprakash has a wife and a 3-year-old son. Hardi Bazar police station reached the spot and got the tractor pulled out of the pond through JCB. After great difficulty, the dead body was taken out from under it. The dead body has been sent for postmortem. Hardi Bazar police station in-charge Mayank Mishra told that the statements of the family members have been taken. Further action is being taken.
