Mohd. Hasan-Raipur. In Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur, the police has exposed a big thug gang. The police have arrested 3 thugs of the Nigerian gang. Passbook, ATM card and mobile phone were recovered from them.
According to the information received, the accused created a fake ID in the name of Vikas Kumar on the matrimonial site and took a woman resident of Pandri under his guise. He started talking to the woman on WhatsApp call. After this, he talked about giving him a gift and extorted Rs 13 lakh 55 thousand from him. Being a victim of fraud, the woman reached the police station. The police registered a complaint in the matter and started searching for the accused.
Interrogation of the accused continues
During the course of action, it was found that the accused is in Delhi. The police left for Delhi and arrested two others including the main accused and brought them to Raipur. Several passbooks, ATM cards and mobile phones have been recovered from them. At present the police is questioning him.
