Kuljot Singh Sandhu-Kondagaon/Farsgaon. The accused who raped a minor girl in Kondagaon district of Chhattisgarh has been arrested by the police from Odisha. The accused had absconded after the complaint of rape. The case is of Farsgaon police station area.
In fact, the applicant had filed a report at the Farsgaon police station that 21-year-old Lochan Baghel alias Raj, a resident of Balond village, had committed incest by taking her minor daughter to his home by alluring her. After that Lochan raped his daughter several times, due to which she became pregnant for 4 months. On the report of the applicant, the police registered the crime and took it into consideration. The accused absconded after the case was registered. The accused was continuously being searched by the Farsgaon police. During this, on receiving information from the informer, the police arrested the accused Lochan Baghel from his maternal uncle’s house at village Mohand police station, Raighar district, Navrangpur, Odisha. The rapist has been arrested after being taken into custody and brought to the Farsgaon police station. Simultaneously, after being produced in the court, he was sent to jail on judicial remand.
