Big relief from High Court in teacher recruitment scam
Sandeep Karihar-Bilaspur. Teachers have got a big relief from the High Court in the posting matter. The High Court has given important instructions regarding the posting and salary of teachers. The High Court has instructed the School Education Department to take a decision on the posting of teachers in 45 days.
Teachers have been directed to join schools with their old postings for salary arrangements. It is noteworthy that due to rigging in the teacher posting scam, the education department had canceled the postings of more than two and a half thousand teachers. A large number of teachers had gone to the High Court regarding the matter. The High Court has also given instructions to form a committee in this matter under the chairmanship of the Principal Secretary, School Education. The committee will consider the petitioners’ application afresh. The High Court has given instructions to submit the representation within 15 days and give the decision to the committee within 45 days. The High Court has canceled the order issued by the government on September 4. Teachers have been allowed to join at their previous place of posting. After hearing the case on November 3, the High Court had reserved its decision.
