Raipur. Sanskar teaching camp has been organized at Digamber Jain Temple in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Pt. Adish Shastri is addressing the event. In Friday’s address, he said that service is our ultimate duty. We should serve our parents and our elders in our house. Service should be kept for every person of the society. We should always help those who need us.
He further said that service should not only be for humans but also for animals and birds. We should make arrangements for food and water for animals and birds in such scorching heat. In this way we should serve birds and animals with body, mind and wealth. One should also contribute in their treatment by donating to the Gaushala. The feeling of service gives a person maximum self-satisfaction in life. At the same time, it also awakens the sense of self-motivation. To serve, tolerance and patience are the most important qualities. Along with these, a person with unique qualities like honesty, dedication, humility, self-realization, compassion, kindness can serve selflessly.
Cultural program organized for children
A cultural program was also organized in the camp organized at Adinath Digambar Jain Bade Mandir. In this, painting competition on new deities was organized on 4th May and Aarti thali decoration competition was organized on 5th May. The president of the temple said that the results and prizes of all would be given on the last day of the camp, May 8. Along with this, the participants of the camp will also be taken for the darshan of Pt. Pujyacharya Shiromani Acharya Vidya Sagar Maharaj, who is currently sitting in Chandragiri Teerth in Dongargarh.
