Raipur News2News.in News:Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park i.e. RIPA scheme in the state on Saturday. The state government started this scheme to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of making the village self-sufficient. Under this, the traditional businessmen of the village have got an opportunity, so that they can make themselves as well as the village self-sufficient through their traditional business. Under this scheme, a total of 10 Ripa Parks have been prepared in four blocks of Raipur district. Under this scheme, 350 people from the district have also registered themselves, who will soon take advantage of this scheme and start their traditional business in the park.
Two crore sanctioned for each RIPA
Under the RIPA scheme, 300 rural industrial parks are being set up across the state. In this, parks have also been constructed in blocks of many districts. These parks are built on one to three acres of land. Many of these parks have been built on vacant land in the gothans of the village. The government has also made a provision of Rs 600 crore in the budget for setting up 300 Ripa Parks across the state. Under this, two crore rupees are being spent to develop each Ripa Park.

Two Ripa Parks with all facilities have been approved in blocks of all districts of the state, but out of four blocks in Raipur district, two blocks each have been approved in Dharsinwa and Tilda, while in Raipur and Arang blocks 2-2 parks have been prepared.

Ripa Park has been made with all facilities. In these, separate halls have been constructed for the production of different traditional businessmen. Apart from this, arrangements for electricity, water and toilets have also been made.

Carpenter Gudi, Lohar Gudi, Hedgery Unit, Kumhar Gudi, Printing Unit, Rajak Gudi, Mochi Gudi, Sculpture, Dona-Pattal Manufacturing Unit, Mattress Manufacturing Unit, Sewing Unit, Namkeen, Fabrication, Spice Packing Unit, Juice Manufacturing from Ripa Park Scheme Traditional businessmen will be able to connect with units etc.

The RIPA scheme will provide an opportunity to the traditional businessmen of the village to move forward. If their business grows, along with them the village will also become self-sufficient.
