He bowed his head while doing so.

The event lasts for two days

The deities and villagers of 9 Parganas (84 villages in 1 Pargana) participate in the Jatra held every year, due to which thousands of people gather here every time. Villagers arrive in large numbers along with all the Gods and Goddesses of the region. In this Jatra that lasts for 2 days, the villagers stay at this place for the night and seek service. After which the organizing committee meets them on the next day and sends them to their areas. The punished deity is put in prison for a fixed period of time.

Goddess punishes

During the conversation, Bhangaram Mai Dev Committee member Balram Gaur said that the Jatra was organized following the administrative guidelines. This time a large number of gods and goddesses from all the regions have been invited. While Bhangaram Devi punished all the Gods and Goddesses in the court as per their actions, the villagers are said to leave many types of material near the temple as punishment. Among these, no one touches or takes away any valuable items like silver, gold etc. throughout the year.
