Kush Aggarwal-Palari. Chhattisgarh Tourism Department is preparing to start ‘Bar’ to attract tourists in ‘Bar Navapara Sanctuary’ resort located in Balodabazar district. On the demand of tourists, the tourism department has prepared a proposal to set up a separate bar in the resort itself. Permission has also been received from the state government for this.
On the other hand, nature lovers of Balodabazar district have started protesting against this proposal of the tourism board. He says that anti-social elements will misuse it due to the sale of liquor in the bar sanctuary. This cannot be denied. This will spoil the atmosphere of the bar sanctuary. There has been talk of raising the voice of protest on this issue in the coming days.
Selection of five resorts to provide ‘bar’ facility
It is notable that the Tourism Board has selected five such resorts in Chhattisgarh, where a sizeable crowd of tourists reaches. As an experiment, in the first phase, Bar Nawapara Sanctuary located in Balodabazar district has been selected. After getting a good response from the tourists here, the department will consider opening bars in the rest of the resorts as well. Let us tell you that, a guideline is being prepared by the department to open bars in these resorts.
Preparing to open bar in ‘Bar’
Nature lovers are making experiments in the sanctuary to attract tourists, what kind of facilities will be given to the tourists in the protest bar, it will be known only after the facility of the bar starts from the end of May or from June. All types of beer and wine will be available at the resort. The rate has not yet been fixed by the department, but according to the information received from the officials, like the bars of big hotels, here also tourists will get 25 to 30 percent more expensive liquor.
