Hemant Verma/Dharsiwa- Bhairav Baba temple is situated in a village 5 km away from the block headquarters Dharsiwa. Which is the center point of spiritual powers. But the existence of the temple seems to be in danger due to the layers of pollution and black dust around this temple. Due to which the villagers have raised an hue and cry against the nearby industries and the responsible department. Also a memorandum has been submitted to the industrialists. It has also been said that if the pollution moving towards the temple complex is not stopped, then a fierce agitation will be carried out.
Grand event of the fair…
Bhairav Babadham, the temple of faith of the area, is situated in Kolhan Nala between village Raita and Kukera including Gram Panchayat Kapsada. Which was inaugurated on 14 December 1996 and since then for the last 25 years, a grand three-day fair is organized in this temple along with prayers. But now some people around Bhairav Baba Temple are spoiling the environment of the surrounding area by earning black dust and illegally trading coal dust along with other businesses and have put the existence of Bhairav Baba Temple in danger. .
Along with humans, God is also troubled…
Villagers have now mobilized to save Bhairav Baba Dham located in Kolhan Nala from pollution. Both humans and God are troubled by pollution. It has become difficult for people to walk due to the flying coal dust between the factories and drains located near the temple. Due to dust, the roads are becoming dark even during the day. At the same time, people are often getting injured due to the impact of the idol and dust accumulated on the ground of Bhairav Baba Dham. Environment related instructions do not seem to have any impact on the energy sector. People are not able to even breathe due to the horror of coal dust. Due to the dust flying behind the vehicles moving on the roads, the distance of even a few meters cannot be seen. Due to which darkness has started falling on the main road during the day itself.
The priest left the temple…
For the last few years, the pollution wreaked such havoc on the priest Shri Indrika Prasad Pandey, who was mainly worshiping at Bhairav Baba Dham, that he considered it appropriate to leave the temple to save his life and today he got himself treated at AIIMS Hospital in Raipur. Are staying. Temple trustees Shri Baldau Ram Sahu and Ganesh Ram Sen told that even today black dust is clearly visible here. Due to dirt and pollution, the robes placed on the idols get covered with a black layer within three-four days. Dirty water containing chemicals is being released into the drain along with drainage; the gases arising from it are also turning the statues black.
