Raipur. Parvadhiraj Das Lakshan Paryushan Mahaparva was organized at Shri Adinath Digambar Jain Temple located on Malviya Road in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Cultural programs were also organized on this occasion.
Uttam Kshama Diwas was celebrated on the first day of the great festival. Like every day, at 7 in the morning, first of all, religious flag hoisting was done at the temple along with chanting of mantras. After this, the 12th Tirthankar Shri Vasupujya Bhagwan was consecrated with 4 golden pots. Indra Pramod Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajeev Jain, Siddharth Jain, Rahul Jain got the privilege of first anointment. Gulshan Lakshmi Kant Jain got the privilege of doing the first Shanti Dhara, the provider of Riddhi-Siddhi. On this occasion, women established Mangal Kalash and the Akhand Jyoti was lit by Shweta Ketan Jain. Women, children, youth were all present during the Aarti and mass worship.
The essence of Dashalakshana festival
Brahmachari Pt. Anshul Shastri told that, Dasalakshan festival is a great festival of introspection, self observation, self awakening and soul achievement in our life. Dasalakshana festival is celebrated three times a year. Bhadrapada is also celebrated in the months of Magh and Chaitra. The reason for celebrating this festival is that if any Kashay persists for more than 6 months then it becomes Anantanubandhi. Therefore, this festival has been arranged thrice to make the apology speech before 6 months. The first day of Tuesday is the day of best forgiveness. On this day, Jain devotees give up anger and if there is any problem, they believe that it is the reason of our previous birth. Therefore, why should we expand this world by getting angry? To control anger, Jain devotees avoid anger by applying spiritual knowledge, dispassion and proper analysis of the situation, although even when overwhelmed by power, a Jain devotee maintains a sense of forgiveness. The meaning of forgiveness is to be included with equality and courtesy and it has also been said that forgiveness is the ornament of the brave, not of the cowards. That is why Jain warriors hold on to forgiveness.

Jodi by Jain Mahila Mandal, Boojho To Jaane and dance performance by Adishwar Mahila Mandal DD Nagar on 25th, Mangalacharan drama by Sanmati Vidya Gyanpeeth Fafadih on 26th, Mangalacharan drama by DD Nagar on 27th. A program of Aarti Sajao and Pratikraman has been organized by Jain Social Group on Khushal Parivar Jinshasan Aadhar, 28 on behalf of Dr. Dhanjay Jain. All these programs have been organized in the Jain Bada Mandir Panchayat Trust and Mahila Mandal. At the same time, arrangements for pure Satvik food have also been made in the Bade Temple for the religious businessmen, students and local people who came from outside for the entire ten days.
