Raipur. The difficulties of IAS Sameer Bishnoi, Suryakant Tiwari, Sunil Aggarwal and Laxmikant Tiwari, who are caught in the clutches of Enforcement Directorate ie ED, do not seem to be reducing yet. These four, who were jailed in the coal transportation scam, were produced in the court again today. The court has rejected his bail plea. Also, the court has ordered all of them to be sent to jail till December 6.
It is worth mentioning that the ED officials had taken the four accused including jailed coal businessman Suryakant Tiwari, suspended IAS Sameer Vishnoi to the court today. The period of judicial remand of these accused had ended today. The ED demanded the court to extend the judicial remand of the accused. At the same time, an application for bail was filed in the court on behalf of one of the accused Sunil Aggarwal. But the order came from the court to send all of them to jail once again.
It is noteworthy that on October 11, the ED raided several districts of the state simultaneously. In this, on October 13, the then CEO of Chips Sameer Vishnoi, advocate and businessman Laxmikant Tiwari and coal businessman Sunil Agarwal were arrested. ED interrogated them for 14 days. After that he was sent to jail in judicial custody. Suryakant Tiwari, an accused in this case, surrendered in the special ED court on 29 October. He was arrested from there and sent to ED custody.
Two officials of the Mineral Department are also in the grip
ED again raided many districts on last Monday. During this, the office of the Mineral Department and the Mineral Branch of the Collectorate were targeted. Several mineral officials were questioned. It is being told that the agency has detained Balrampur-Ramanujganj district’s Mineral Officer Awadhesh Barik and Dhamtari’s Mineral Inspector Khilavan Bhuarya on Tuesday. Watch the video-
