According to the information, the youth Sainath Narote (26) was a resident of Naxal-affected village Mardhur T Bharmagarh in Gadchiroli district, who lived and studied in Gadchiroli for the last several years. Had returned to his village about 4 to 5 days back during the Holi holidays. On Thursday for some work, he was going somewhere on the way to the forest after coming out of the village. Whose information was received by the Naxalites. He was abducted by about 5 to 7 Maoists who arrived in rural attire. Then shot him after accusing him of being a police informer.

After the incident, the dead body of the youth was thrown near the village on Thursday night itself. On Friday morning, the villagers informed the relatives and the police. Police registered a case of murder and sent the body to the hospital for postmortem. The police is now probing the matter. Actually, Naxalites have killed a student after a long time on the suspicion of being a police informer. After this incident, there is panic among the students of the area who left the village and went to study outside.
