Janjgir-Champa. The Janjgir-Champa police has succeeded in arresting two of the four accused who conspired to murder the stepfather from Bihar after 4 years. In this case, the police had already arrested the wife accused of killing her husband. At the same time, 2 sons and daughter involved in the murder were absconding. Both the arrested accused were presented in the court on Friday, from where they have been sent to jail in judicial custody. The daughter is said to be still absconding. The case pertains to the murder that took place in Champa police station area in 2019.

According to the Champa police, the marriage of the accused Chhotu Kumar was to take place on February 27, 2023. On this information, the police team was sent to Munger in the state of Bihar. Constable working in Special Operation Cell of Munger Bihar Police along with Champa police team raided the house of the accused and arrested the accused Chhotu Kumar Singh and Sandeep Kumar from Jhawa Bahiyar Police Station Harinmar, District Munger Bihar.
Dead body was thrown in the pond after killing
Please tell that on December 17, 2019, Arvind Kumar Verma, the brother of the deceased, lodged a report at Champa police station. According to Arvind, sister-in-law Soma Devi, nephew Sandeep, Chhotu and niece conspired to kill Dharamveer and threw the dead body in a jute sack in the pond behind Nidhi Bhavan. On the complaint, the police had registered a case against the accused under sections 302, 201, 120B of IPC at Champa police station. The deceased’s brother Arvind told that Soma Devi, wife of his brother Dharamveer, came to his residence in Raipur on 16 December 2019 at 12 midnight. Soma reached her home in Raipur Sarora and told about the murder of her husband Dharamveer. Arvind said that his sister-in-law told that on December 11, she along with her son Chhotu Kumar, Sandeep Kumar and daughter was at Nidhi Bhawan in Champa. At the same time Dharamveer Verma came home. After having food here, the son strangled his father to death after a family dispute with Chhotu.
