Raipur. An air hostess girl from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, was murdered in Mumbai yesterday. A suspect has been arrested in the murder case of trainee air hostess Rupal Ogre. On the other hand, after post-mortem, Rupal’s body has been brought to Raipur. The funeral procession of the deceased was taken out from his house in New Rajendra Nagar of the city. During this, thousands of people including Rupal’s parents and siblings wept.
It is noteworthy that Chandrika Ogre, living in New Rajendranagar area of Raipur, is a retired civil engineer. He has 3 daughters and a son. Youngest daughter Rupal Ogre had recently gone to Mumbai to take air hostess training. Who was murdered by slitting his throat on Monday in Mumbai.
Rupal’s schooling was done in Raipur only.
Rupal had completed her education from Raipur only. Studied in KPS School, Raipur till class 12th. After this higher education was done from Chandigarh. The family members told that Rupal was of very calm nature, used to hang out with her friends and was also the darling of her family.
A bloody body was found lying in the flat.
It is noteworthy that Rupal Ogre was found dead late on Sunday night in a flat of NG Complex on Krishnalal Marwah Marg in Marol area of Andheri in Mumbai. After receiving the information, the Powai police team reached the incident site at around 9:45 pm on Sunday night. An officer of Powai police station said that Rupal lived in a flat with her sister and her boyfriend. Both of them had gone out of the city and only Rupal was in the flat.
Relatives got suspicious for not receiving the phone
When Rupal did not answer phone calls from her family members, they contacted her local friends in Mumbai and asked them to visit the flat. When the friends reached there, they found the flat locked from inside and no one answered the bell. Later, he contacted the local Powai police station, with whose help the flat was opened using another key. He told that Rupal’s throat was slit and she was lying on the ground bleeding.
