Mukhtej Singh became the Vice President of SGFI: Chhattisgarh’s Badesha, who worked for Vidya Bharti, got a big responsibility

Kuljot Sandhu-Keshkal / Kondagaon. Mukhtej Singh Badesha, who lives in Farasgaon development block of Kondagaon district of Chhattisgarh, started his work in Vidya Bharti from Bastar division. While working in Vidya Bharti, now Mukhtej Singh has been made the Vice President of Badesha School Games Federation of India.

Election was held on 17 January

It is worth mentioning that the election of the School Games Federation of India, the country’s largest federation, which organizes school sports at the national level, was held on January 17 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. Umesh Sinha, former Secretary General of the Election Commission of India, was made the Election Officer on behalf of the Union Sports Ministry. Two representatives each from all the states and 8 state units participated during the election. On behalf of Vidya Bharti, Mukhtej Singh Badesha, Convener National Sports Department contested the election of Vice President and 4 representatives from all over the country filed papers for the Vice President’s election. A total of 84 votes were cast in this and Mukhtej Singh Badesha won the post of Vice President of School Games Federation of India by getting 74 votes.

Mukhtej Badesha was congratulated on the victory during the meeting with Union Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Anurag Thakur. At the same time, on the victory of Mukhtej, the residents of Farsgaon city say that along with the city and Kondagaon district, the name of Bastar region has been brought to the fore. We all are proud of this victory and congratulate Mukhtej.
