Prem Somvanshi / Kota. Mass marriage was organized at Siddha Shaktipeeth Shri Mahamaya Devi Mandir Public Trust Ratanpur in Kota district of Chhattisgarh. On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, 160 couples were to be married together. But 152 couples attended the event. Mahamaya Trust organized a mass wedding at Siddha Shaktipeeth Devi Temple and 152 brides and grooms were tied in the thread for life. Tell me, the wedding pandal was set up in Bhagwat Manch. The procession was taken out with the sound of bands and fireworks. In which the temple’s trusts were seen dancing and dancing as baraatis. This event is organized every year free of cost. And that’s why mass marriage is done on Akshaya Tritiya. Because on this day it is said that couples who get married on Akshaya Tritiya are blessed with eternal prosperity and togetherness.
