Raipur. A three-day training was organized by the Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Union from November 23 to 25 on the leadership development of women office bearers of the state’s cooperative sector. The program was organized under the aegis of National Cooperative Education Center, New Delhi in collaboration with the State Cooperative Union. The three-day program concluded on 25 November.
State Cooperative Union President Jhunmun Gupta, chief guest of the program, while addressing the women, said that the main intention of education training is to acquire knowledge at the technical level. He told that this type of training gives us an opportunity to know and understand each other’s thoughts apart from training. Training gives practical knowledge and also increases self-confidence. He asked the women to take advantage of the training and take their committees forward.
NRK Chandravanshi, Managing Director of the State Cooperative Union, told the program that you should implement the learning of this training in your life and also benefit your society. Union CEO Vivek Pandey welcomed the guests while explaining about the programs of the three days of training. Former CEO VK Shukla also addressed the program during the program. He said that training increases knowledge and develops decision making ability.
Study tour of Chherikhedi self-help group
In the three-day training, women were given information on the meaning and importance of co-operatives as well as their leadership capacity development. On the second day of the programme, women were taken on a study tour of Kalpataru Multipurpose Self Help Group Chherikhedi. In which women were given information about the products made by them. Women also expressed their views about the training and described the training as beneficial. Women officials from different districts, trainers and employees of the State Co-operative Union were present in the programme.
