Raipur. The health workers’ strike continues even after the ESMA order was issued. They will gherao the Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday regarding their demands. Along with this, they will protest by burning copies of the ESMA order. Under the banner of Health Federation, the employees are united at Tuta dharnasthal.
Health Federation officials Dr. Iqbal Hussain and Tarjan Guptas told that, the government had praised the health workers and doctors during the Corona period by calling them angels and even Gods of the earth for controlling the epidemic in the state. But the legitimate demands were ignored and they were forced to come on the road for agitation. Instead of considering their demands, the government is preparing to take action against them for not returning to work by implementing ESMA.
Five point demand including removal of pay discrepancy
The agitating employees say that till they do not get any concrete assurance on their demands, their agitation will continue. They will try to gherao the Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday in protest against the implementation of ESMA. During this, our indignation will also be expressed by burning copies of the ESMA order. He said that even after this movement, if the matter does not work, then a fierce movement like Jailbharo movement will be started.
