Bhilai. A 23-year-old college student committed suicide by hanging herself in Bhilai, located in Durg district of Chhattisgarh. The name of the deceased is being told as Akanksha Ahirwar. She was a fashion designer and a B.Com final year student from Kalyan Mahavidyalaya, Bhilai. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and got involved in the investigation. It is being told, a boy was troubling her for a long time. The case is of Bhatti police station area.
According to the information received, Akanksha Ahirwar lived with her mother, two sisters and a brother in Sector 4 road number 7 in the township. His father is a retired policeman. Younger sister Anushka is 12th pass. The younger Tanushka is 10th pass and brother Sahil works in a hotel. On the other hand, Akanksha’s father is absconding for the last 20 years in the murder case. Akanksha’s mother Mankunwar Ahirwar does farming.

On Monday morning at 11.30 am, her dead body was found hanging from the noose in Akanksha’s room. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and after conducting the panchnama, the body has been sent for postmortem. On Tuesday, after the arrival of relatives from Tikamgarh in Madhya Pradesh, the dead body will be handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.
The deceased was under stress for several days
At the same time, in the interrogation of the police, the family members told that a boy was harassing Akanksha for some time. She didn’t mention much about him, but she was worried about him. Even the family members did not know that she would come under such mental stress that she would take such a step. However, the exact cause of death is not yet clear.
